Fire Prevention

COMM Fire Departments Fire Prevention Bureau focuses on the 3-Es of Fire Prevention; Education, Enforcement and Engineering. We conduct annual business inspections of all properties throughout the district as well as private sales/transfers in accordance with M.G.L 148. We work in conjunction with the Barnstable Building Department and provide proper permitting for specific job-related tasks. We also provide early education to our elementary schools as well as a robust Community Risk Reduction Program for our senior citizens.
